Weekly Discussion Night: Would it be better if all jobs were automated?

Join us for our inaugural CHS Weekly Discussion Night on the future of humanity.

These discussions are open to all and take place in a friendly pub setting. We start with a topic of importance to our global future and then delve in to it, challenging both sides of the argument to clarify their positions and unearth the essence of the disagreement. The discussion will be lightly moderated and an introduction to the topic will be provided at the beginning.

This week's discussion is focused on automation. It's a process that has been going on for centuries, but with the acceleration of technology - and the prospect that a general AI which could perform all jobs may eventually become a reality - the issue has taken on new importance.

Many arguments are being pitched by both sides, and this Kialo page provides a good overview: https://www.kialo.com/automation-and-ai-should-replace-as-many-human-jobs-as-possible-5239

So whether you're a subject matter expert, a first-timer wanting learn more, or simply someone who enjoys good conversation in a friendly setting, join us for a great evening!
